Alexandra Köves is an ecological economist, Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, and Head of the Ecological Economics Research Centre at the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies. She is also President of the European Society of Ecological Economics. She teaches decision science, ecological economics, and degrowth. Her research focuses on both decision-making processes that influence sustainability transitions and sustainability scenarios using participatory research methods. She works to promote degrowth to both students and a wider audience and runs two podcast series: a Hungarian-language podcast called “Green Equality” and an English-language podcast called “Economics for Rebels.”
