After earning his architectural engineering degree, he also studied economics, real estate management, and completed an MBA. He began his career in 1981 in the construction industry, mainly in site management, where computer-aided organization particularly interested him. From 1994, he worked as a real estate investment specialist, managing full development projects. In 1996, he joined Graphisoft R&D, overseeing the development, leasing, and operation of the office park. In 2006, Graphisoft Park SE became an independent publicly listed company, where he has served as CEO since its inception.

He stepped down as CEO on July 1, 2025, and continues to support the company as a board member. Sustainability has been a priority from the start: about 60% of the site is green space, designed with biodiversity in mind. Building modernization focuses on reducing operational energy use and carbon footprint. Through the BCSDH community, the company gains valuable insights into sustainability and actively shares its experience.
