Dr. Dóra Fazekas holds a PhD in environmental economics and has been working on issues of climate change and sustainability for more than twenty years as an economic researcher. Since 2018, she has led the Budapest office of the UK-based analytical firm Cambridge Econometrics, which was established in the Hungarian capital as part of the company’s preparations for Brexit, largely due to her professional background. The research and consulting firm develops economic models that identify trends and forecast the expected impacts of different scenarios for decision-makers in government, business, and the civil sector, thereby supporting them in addressing the complex challenges facing society.
