A Circular Economy Hotspot-ról

A Circular Economy Hotspot egy évente megrendezésre kerülő találkozó, mely a Hollandiában 2016-ban megrendezett eseményből nőtte ki magát.
Azóta eljutott Luxemburgba, Skóciába, Belgiumba, Katalóniába, Észak-Rajna-Vesztfáliába és Dublinba. Minden évben más-más helyszínen kerül megrendezésre, olyan országokban, melyek a legjobb működő körforgásos gazdasági gyakorlatokat és innovációkat tudják felmutatni. Az együttműködés kulcs szerepet tölt be a Hotspot eseményeken – egyedülálló alkalmat teremt arra, hogy a magyarországi szervezetek egymással, valamint más országok és régiók szereplőivel is kapcsolatot építsenek és erősítsenek.
2026-ban Magyarországon kerül megrendezésre az Európai Circular Economy Hotspot találkozó, a Magyarországi Üzleti Tanács a Fenntartható Fejlődésért (BCSDH) és a Körforgásos Gazdaság Platform szervezésében.

The conference will highlight the importance of circular principles and practices to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the collaborative, partnership-led approach we are taking towards meeting those goals. Attendees will be encouraged to network widely across sectors and across borders, sharing ideas, learnings, and best practice to inspire the drive towards a circular future.

The Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH) A Magyarországi Üzleti Tanács a Fenntartható Fejlődésért (BCSDH) több mint 150 előremutató gondolkodású vállalat értékteremtő közössége a fenntartható vállalati működés elérése érdekében. Tagjai a magyar GDP több mint 40%-át termelik.

A szervezet fő célja, hogy elősegítse a gazdasági szereplők körében a fenntartható fejlődés három alappillérének: a gazdasági fejlődés, az ökológiai egyensúly és a társadalmi igazságosság elveinek a vállalati gyakorlatba való átültetését és alkalmazását.

The Circular Economy Platform was officially established in Hungary in 2018 as an initiative of the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH), the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology. So far, 103 companies and organizations have joined the Platform, the purpose of which is to accelerate the transition to a circular economic model by sharing knowledge, creating joint projects and collaborations.
