Anita Simon joined ALTEO in 2019 and became Deputy CEO in 2021. Since 2025, she has served as Managing Director of ALTEO Circular Ltd. She is the only Hungarian member of the European Investment Bank Group’s Women Climate Leaders Network, a platform of experts from 27 EU Member States focused on sustainability and the development of competitive solutions for the green transition, supporting the EU’s regulatory and investment agenda. Anita is an Executive Board member of the National Biomethane-Biogas Bioenergy Industry Association and the Hungarian Waste Management Federation. She also serves on the Advisory Board to the Managing Director of the Hungarian Festival Orchestra. She is deeply committed to sustainability, integrating environmental considerations into both her professional and everyday life.
