Ferenc Kis has been working as an energy engineer at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg since 2023. As a sector specialist, he is involved in the environmental and financial appraisal of decarbonisation projects financed by the Modernisation Fund. Between 2021 and 2023, he worked in Riyadh as a sustainability advisor at the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) on urban development and infrastructure projects. Between 2011 and 2020, he held a sustainability leadership position at Budapest Airport Zrt., where he led the implementation of the Greenairport programme – recognised with numerous national and international awards – and managed environmental compliance for large-scale developments.
