Gábor is the Director of the Hungarian Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (HuSif) and a Visiting Fellow at the Florence School of Banking & Finance at the European University Institute. He was the founding head of the Sustainable Finance Department at the Central Bank of Hungary, where he led the institution’s green agenda from 2018 to 2022. From 2022 to 2025, he worked as a consultant to the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), designing and delivering international capacity-building programmes for banks. Earlier in his career, he held senior expert and management roles at the Central Bank of Hungary and served as a financial services policy expert at the European Central Bank.
