Gergely Sándor is an architect, founder and managing director of Viador Átrium Group, established in 2016, recognised with numerous awards: the BigSEE Architecture Award, the Hungarian Construction Excellence Award and multiple Év Irodája (Office of the Year) Awards. Gergely Sándor is also the initiator of KOHÓ®, Hungary’s first co-housing project: a timber-structured, sustainably designed residential building in Budapest where future residents actively shape shared spaces and community frameworks from the very first design stages. The project puts circular principles into practice – through the use of natural materials and a low carbon footprint during construction, and sharing-based principles in everyday operation. KOHÓ® is a practical response to the challenge of sustainable urban living.
